RAT POISON AND BRANDY: THE 1904 ST. LOUIS OLYMPIC MARATHON.
Jon Bois
Jon Bois tells the story of the 1904 St. Louis Olympic marathon, a chaotic race involving fraud, rat poison, brandy, feral dogs and near-deaths. It is an episode of his show Pretty Good.
HN commenters recommend it as a funny, well-told retelling of one of the strangest sporting events ever.
